Die Design & Engineering The first-rate quality of precision die design from JIT Global Enterprises is the direct result of experience, versatility and control. Our capabilities in production stamping, prototype development and precision tooling component manufacturing provides us with the expertise needed to offer a wide range of die design options to overcome the most complex challenges. Our die design team, comprised of tool designers, toolmakers, stamping technicians, engineeers, and quality staff work closely together to understand your needs and develop tooling solutions focused on providing consistent quality, the longest possible tool life, and maximum production uptime. We specialize in progressive stamping dies with tungsten carbide or ceramic cutting components.
Nowhere is the experience and versatility of JIT Global Enterprises more evident than in our die building and stamping processes where our expertise ranges from ultra precision, high speed progressive dies, stamping materials as thin as .003 to high tonnage dies (up to 100 tons) stamping materials as thick as 3/16 of an inch. W hether your die design involves simple cutting or complex forming and drawing or if your production demands fast option changeovers and reduced maintainence times, we have a variety of die design styles to accommodate your needs including: - Bridge Stripper - Cost effective, non-moving simple stripper design
- Modified Bridge Stripper - The premise of a bridge stripper with added accuracy and versatility for option changes and the blanking effect of a full spring loaded stripper.
- Full Spring Loaded Stripper or Three-Plate Design - best suited for flat stampings or stampings with simple forming.
- Modular or Front-Load Design - Facilitates option changes and areas requiring frequent maintenance by offering the ability to remove specific tooling without removing the entire die from the press.
From initial die design through final assembly and testing, each stage of the die design process is controlled internally since relying on the commitment and performance levels of others is simply a leap of faith we are not willing to take. Furthermore, each tool built by us is fully tested in a production environment to ensure that stated product quality and tool operating standards have been met. When customer requirements for tool buyoff documentation go beyond first article ins pection, our personnel are well versed in performing capability studies, run-at-speed studies and die buyoff requirements related to your particular Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). We have recently started working on Tombstone Fixtures and have become quite good at it. We can design your fixture in Solid Works and you will have the capability to program the machine using the 3D Solid Works file long before we finish manufacturing the fixture. Please check out our image gallery for more pictures of our most recent Tombstone Fixture.
Experience, Versatility and Internal Control... This is the philosophy behind our success in offering customers high quality, cost effective progressive dies in as little as four weeks. Contact us today for more information! Click here to see examples of our work.
